Your VCQI Valentine - Updated source code and documents available now

Greetings, Friends,

I am writing to let you know that an updated set of VCQI Stata programs and supporting documents are available at the VCQI resource website

Please have a look and give us some feedback.

Updates include:

  1. A new 20-page manual: 'Getting Started with VCQI' that walks you thru how to download and run VCQI for the first time
  2. Updates to all the documentation, including new material on how to interpret VCQI's graphic figures, how to modify the figures, how to troubleshoot VCQI if you experience an error, and more.
  3. User may choose whether to produce inchworm plots or bar charts
  4. User may choose to sort strata in the graphics: in order of worst-to-best outcomes, best-to-worst outcomes, or show them in the same order as they appear in tables
  5. New material describing the bare minimum of variables needed in the VCQI data sets to run a coverage analysis

You can see a slide deck about the update here.

In response to questions about post-campaign coverage survey analyses, reasons for non-vaccination, and zero-dose children, we will be posting a series of case-studies along with the programs and datasets for you to download and follow along.

In prepararation for following along with case studies, download the 'Getting Started' guide and practice running VCQI on a small demo dataset, as instructed there.  When you've been successful, come back to the User's Group and let us all know that you've successfully run VCQI.

Warm regards,

-Dale
