Coverage for all vaccines

Goal 3.2 of the Global Vaccine Action Plan (GVAP) is to: "By 2020, reach 90% national coverage and 80% in every district or equivalent administrative unit for all vaccines in national programmes, unless otherwise recommended". The following visualisation presents a summary of progress made from 2010 to 2015 to achieve this goal.

Note: We are currently only able to measure progress against the target for national-level coverage, since district-level administrative data are available only for the third dose of diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTP3) containing vaccine and the first dose of measles-containing vaccine (MCV1). The lowest coverage rate for any one particular vaccine that is part of the national immunization programme is used to determine whether the country has met the indicator target.
