Deadline extended

Do you work on health or immunization? Are you passionate about new and innovative approaches to improving vaccination coverage?

If ‘yes’, then we’d like to hear from YOU!

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has developed a set of tools to support immunization programmes with the roll out of COVID-19 vaccines and strengthening routine immunization. We are seeking critical and innovative thinkers to test these tools through telephone interviews with individuals in Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Ethiopia, India, Nigeria and Pakistan.

In partnership with research experts Kantar Public, WHO is looking to interview health professionals, programme managers and health officers or community volunteers involved in planning, delivering and /or advocating for immunization.

If this is you, and you are interested in participating in this time-limited and innovative work, register your interest here!

Registration has been extended due to considerable interest until the 4th of April.

This work is part of a longer-standing initiative to develop globally validated tools that support programmes to assess and address the social and behavioural drivers of immunization. This is a multi-partner initiative funded by Gavi and the Bill and Melida Gates Foundation.

If you’d like to hear more about this work, feel free to post queries or comments in response to this post, or email [email protected]

Thanks for sharing this, Francine. This looks very intereesting and I would be very curious about the tools. I have been working on improving equity in immunization, and would love to learn more about the demand tools and how they specifically cater to urban poor, migrants, and people living in security compromised areas.

Best,
