We are pleased to announce that the IAPHL website now provides you with access to a FREE online course, called Lessons in Logistics Management for Health Commodities. This is a self-directed learning course that you can take at your own pace, and all you need is an internet connection! Once you complete the course, you can print out proof of your completion (there is no certificate provided). The online course features 8 interactive sessions on: 1) Introduction to Logistics 2) Logistics Management Information Systems 3) Assessing Stock Status 4) Maximum - Minimum Inventory Control Systems 5) Selecting Maximum - Minimum Inventory Control Systems 6) Storage of Health Commodities 7) Assessing Logistics Systems 8) Quantification of Health Commodities Here are the steps to take in order to access the online course: --Use the following link to the IAPHL website, then click on the button on the right hand side that says "Online Course". http://iaphl.org/resource-library/ -- This should take you to JSI E-Learning Center http://elearning.jsi.com/. From here you should create a username and password, by clicking on the red link at the right that says "create new password" -- Once you are logged into the JSI E-Leaning site, you can get started! Simply click on "Courses", then find the JSI E-Learning course titled "Lessons in Logistics Management on Health Commodities" and click on it. -- Follow the prompts for instructions on how to proceed throughout the course. Take notes and enjoy the learning experience! We recommend using headphones for the audio, and don't forget to turn of all pop-up blockers on your computer to allow the content to load. We hope this is a useful resource that will help IAPHL members to advance professionally and improve their technical supply chain skills.
