“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” Benjamin Franklin The goal of the IAPHL e-mentoring program is to provide its members with opportunities to develop a partnership through which the mentor shares knowledge, skills, information and perspective to nurture the professional growth of the mentee. By participating in the program, the mentor enhances skills in counseling, listening and develops a more personal style of leadership. As a result of having a mentor, the mentee grows professionally and demonstrates strengths and explores potential. Details of roles and responsibilities for the mentor and mentee are described in the IAPHL e-mentoring program handbook.
