IntraHealth International seeks a full-time Technical Specialist for USAID’s Global Health Supply Chain – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project, Namibia, led by Chemonics.
The purpose of the GHSC-PSM project is to ensure uninterrupted supplies of health commodities in support of USG-funded public health initiatives around the world.

The Technical Specialist will support the PSM Country Director in planning, analyzing, identifying and implementing process improvements along the supply chain in Namibia with the goal of increasing accountability and reliability of supply chain management in-country. Other primary responsibilities include coordinating with the MOHSS and supporting forecasting and quantification technical assistance and capacity building at site level. Capacity building initiatives will cover procurement, warehousing, distribution logistics, and stock management.

Candidates should have at a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Logistics/Supply Chain Management and at least seven years of experience in pharmaceutical management and logistics and supply chain management, particularly at the national level.
