The first very short is from Søren Spanner (mailto:[email protected]) and the second from Jean Bomani (no @ddress available) from EPI Tanzania, a reply to Mogens Munck. _______________________________ Just to let you all know, that I also agree with Mogens Munk, Modibo Dicko and Robert Steinglass Søren Spanner UNICEF ________________ Hi Mogens, I was reading your experience with countries you worked with concerning sufficient funds for proper implementation of routine immunization. I do agree with you. In addition to this concerning supervision of immunisation services, the immunization officers have difficulities also to fit in the District Health Management Teams(DHMT).With the health sector reforms they are not members, they are co-opted. .It means they might be included or left out during supervision visits of the health facilities. .The decision is upon the District Manager to whether She/He thinks immunisation intervention is a priority as listed in the essential health package.
