Post 01013E : VACCINES OUT OF THE COLD CHAIN Follow-up on Post 01007E 20 November 2006 ____________________________________ The following contribution is from Serge Ganivet (mailto:[email protected]) from Zimbabwe, asking a very relevant question. ____________________________________ The Vietnam experience of administering the birth dose of HepB out of the cold chain is very interesting. Given these results in terms of both coverage thus accessibility, and immunity, why not take the subsequent doses of the immunisation schedule also out of the cold chain in rural areas? Thank you.
