POST 01085E : MENINGOCOCCAL GROUP C VACCINE OUT-OF-THE-COLD-CHAIN 28 April 2007 ____________________________________ Carib Nelson (mailto:[email protected]) from PATH shares the following article : "Overcoming the need for a cold chain with conjugated meningococcal Group C vaccine : A controlled, randomized double-blind study in toddlers on the safety and immunogenicity of Menjugate®, stored at room temperature for six months" , by Ines Schöndorf, Angelika Banzhoff, Uwe Nicolay and Francisco Diaz-Mitoma ; Vaccine 25 (2007), 1175-1182. The title is almost an abstract in itself but in brief, authors concluded that the immunogenicity of the vaccine stored at room temperature was not inferior to that stored at 2-8°C.
