Good day to you all, We are pleased to announce the “Overview Course in Supply Chain Management of Health Commodities", a new training designed to increase professionals of the health sector’s understanding of logistics management and commodity planning, as well as their ability to manage health commodities. The training will be conducted in French and is intended for individuals who are responsible for planning, managing, monitoring or procuring commodity supply chains for HIV prevention and treatment, malaria, family planning or other national health programs, in the public, NGO or private sector. The training will take place in Ouagadougou Burkina Faso from the 22nd to the 27th of March, 2010. It will last 6 days and will cost 1800 euros. The training is being offered by Bioforce Institute of Development, a reference vocational training centre in the aid sector, in partnership with the USAID-DELIVER project and the World Health Organization (WHO).
