Exact dates and venue will be communicated later but we are looking for an appropriate date between October 2012 and early 2013. We are inviting proposals for topics to include in the agenda. Topics could highlight country-specific experiences or new innovations in one or more of the following fields:- • VACCINE CHARACTERISTICS AND DELIVERY DEVICES • COLD CHAIN EQUIPMENT • INFORMATION SYSTEMS • SUPPLY CHAIN DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT • TRAINING AND HUMAN RESOURCES Please send your proposed topics and/or others ideas by email to: vaccines@who.int, latest by Wednesday, 9th May 2012. Sorry I missed the deadline.Proposed TechNet 21 Topice 2. suggestions: 1. Supportive supervision as a training methodology and how to make it work 2. Panel on presentations. How relevant are the opinions of VPPAC and IPAC and PSPQ on what people really want in the field? How about 2 dose containers? VIsual cues? Non AD prefilled syringes?

Kindly consider the topic suggestion: ‘GAVI and Immunisation Data Quality Assessments’. I am happy to present on this topic describing the work we are doing to systematically collection information on the plausibility of country administrative data systems and mobile health platforms which may aid this work. Thanks for the information. I would like to propose that we should look at the last mile delivery and reaching the unreached and also innovations to improve coverage and quality of immunization services. The third area I would like to propose is on ways to address vaccine wastage; As more and more countries introduce high cost vaccines, the wastage issue will play major role in terms of coverage as well as countries abilities to pay for hidden cost of vaccine wastage.
