Dear Colleagues : Please find attached an information bulletin which announces the recent WHO pre-qualification of DTwP-HepB-Hib vaccine available in a compact, pre-filled auto-disable injection technology (cPAD). An example of a compact pre-filled auto-disable injection technology is the Uniject™ device. This information note is particularly focused on the DTwP-HepB-Hib vaccine, but hepatitis B vaccine and tetanus toxoid are also prequalified in this injection technology. The information is intended for WHO/UNICEF staff, as well as EPI managers or other partner agencies which support immunization programmes. Please disseminate widely to all our EPI staff of WHO and UNICEF, as well as partners in immunization. Thank you. Merci. http://www.who.int/immunization/programmes_systems/service_delivery/en/
