POST 00487E : CFC DISPOSAL 13 August 2002
__________________________________________________________
Elly Tumwine Rweizire (mailto:[log in to unmask]) country logistician at
UNEPI (EPI Uganda) has a question concerning environmentally-safe disposal
of equipment containing chloro-fluorocarbons (CFC). I made some search
myself but could not find any appropriate and practical answer. So here is
the part of his message concerning this question.
__________________________________________________________
I would also like to note that while countries are working with
environmental protection programmes to formulate policies for safe disposal
of CFC refrigeration equipment, what is the latest on policy as a guideline
on the Technet desk?
Thanks
Elly
