As you may know, some users have encountered problems when signing in to the EVM2 website or downloading/uploading questionnaires on the app. We have made some progress on resolving the problem, although there is now an additional step in the registration process. Details are below.

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN EVM2 ACCOUNT

If you have a WHO or PAHO email address, you can sign in as normal.

If you do NOT have a WHO or PAHO email address, you will not be able to log in to the EVM2 website until you have revalidated your account. You should have already received an automated email from WHO entitled "New registration for EVM2". Before you can log in to the EVM2 website, you will need to validate your account by clicking the link in the email. Please look out for the email - if you haven't received anything within the next hour please check your junk email folder.

NEW USERS

If you have a WHO or PAHO email address, sign in to the EVM2 website in the normal way.

If you do NOT have a WHO or PAHO email address, you will need to request access. Please send an email requesting access to [email protected]

Once you have been granted access, you can sign in to the EVM2 website in the normal way.

Dear all, I've been informed that due to security concerns, the WHO IT department have just disabled external authentication to the EVM1 and EVM2 websites. This means that unless you have a WHO email account you will not be able to log in to either the EVM1 or EVM2 websites, or download or upload assigned questionnaires in the EVM app.

We are working with the WHO IT team on resolving this and hope to have the problem fixed within the next few days. Apologies for any inconvenience. Unfortunately we were not given any advance warning on this.

The first set of assessment files  submitted  were incomplete - However, in view of wanting to see the heat map I had approved 10 out of 15 files that were submitted last week.

In order that the revised files be updated again  it was necessary to "Unapprove" (send the approved file back in to the left side folder), by clicking on the X option on the rightmost side.
If we do not do this, the assessor receives a message stating "the file cannot be uploaded as it has already been approved".

Once the file is "unapproved",  each assessor is able to   upload his revised file and for the manager to receive the updated file. The date of the file apload appears on right side of the table  in the "Pending Approval " List as a verification.

The new files need to be approved again  as next step.

Hi, we are currently putting the finishing touches to the new EVM Manager Guide PDF. If you are interested in testing out the draft by following the instructions to conduct a self-assessment of one or more facilities using the new "My facilities" tool, please let me know and I can share a draft with you. Your feedback will be invaluable in finaising the document.

"This user guide provides national, subnational, and independent EVM managers with comprehensive guidance on how to use the EVM Manager website to create and deliver EVM assessments."

Many thanks, Dan

Great news :-) Today we released a new version of the EVM Assessor app for Android, and a new version of the app for iOS (Apple) and Windows 10 devices will be coming very soon. We also made a new website release. There are many improvements in this new release, but a summary of the most important ones is given below. Note that if you open the app and an internet connection is detected, the app should update itself automatically.

My facilities
Anyone with an EVM2 account can now manage and assess their facilities in the same way that countries do. Each user has their own private environment they can use to set up their vaccine schedule, tracers, ISC parameters, and locations and then create and deliver EVM assessments. To access "My facilities", next to the EVM logo at the top of the screen ensure that "My facilities" is selected.

Capacity calculator
For questions in the app that require the assessor to make a calculation relating to storage capacity (for example, the new storage capacity of a refrigerated vehicle or cold room), there is a new tool that makes this easier. Just look for the calculator icon under relevant questions.

Multiple site selection
The site selection in an EVM assessment is designed to ensure that a nationally representative sample of facilities is drawn. This means that comparisons between the performance of administrative units (for example, provinces or states) in an assessment cannot be reliably made, which prevents gaining greater insight into sub-national performance variance (a vital lens in ensuring equitable immunization service delivery). To address this shortcoming, it is now possible to create EVM assessments that use standardised, individual site selections for each administrative unit. While this invariably means that more sites will included in the site selection, it also means that comparisons between provinces and states will be possible.

Heat-map comparison
A new type of report has been created on the EVM2 website that enables the performance of locations, administrative units, or even entire assessments to be compared directly to one another and viewed in a single heat-map.

Programme questionnaire app delivery
For full national EVM assessments that require a questionnaire on immunization programme performance to be delivered, the programme questionnaire can be assigned, downloaded, completed and uploaded on the EVM Assessor app in the same way as location questionnaires.

Improved CSV export of reports

Better error reporting on locations import tool

We hope you find these updates useful and please report back if you have any questions or suggestions on future improvements.
