POST 00843E : COLD CHAIN MARKET ASSESSMENT 13 October 2005 ____________________________________________________________ Carib Nelson (mailto:[email protected]) from PATH, submits the following document for your information and comments. You can choose the format you prefer : in Word : http://www.technet21.org/ColdChainMarke ... ndings.doc in pdf : http://www.technet21.org/pdf_file/ColdC ... ndings.pdf ______________________________________________________________ Claudia Harner-Jay, PATH commercialization specialist, has conducted a market assessment of vaccine cold chain refrigeration equipment. We initiated this from discussions with cold chain partners when it became apparent that there is very little data available on the public health market for cold chain refrigerators. This report is based on conversations with equipment manufacturers, purchasers, and policy makers. Although it doesn't answer all the questions about cold chain markets, we hope it can be used to help manufacturers understand this field a little better and provide some direction for future product development. We invite comments from readers and are willing to revise the document to add more information if it is forthcoming.
