POST 01011E : POST 01011E : VACCINE RESEARCH CONFERENCE 15 November 2006 _____________________________________ The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) sponsors the Annual Conference on Vaccine Research. The 2007 conference will be held in Baltimore, Maryland, USA April 30-May 2, 2007. NFID has received a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to establish an International Travel Grants Program for the vaccine conference. This initiative is designed to help vaccine and infectious disease researchers in countries with limited resources attend the conference. The monetary award covers expenses associated with the conference, including registration, economy international airfare, hotel, and meals. On behalf of NFID, I am again asking for the help of WHO in reaching appropriate administrators, researchers, and others who will have either a direct interest in this program or have the ability to pass this information along to their constituencies. Specific program requirements and application are available as a pdf download at the NFID web site at http://www.nfid.org/conferences/vaccine07 Your cooperation is very much appreciated in helping NFID to continue to make the Annual Conference on Vaccine Research a success. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.
