Hello,
Per the AIRA bylaws, officers are elected by the AIRA board. AIRA is pleased to announce the following officer election results:
- Christy Gray from the Virginia Department of Health was elected as AIRA's President-Elect
- Heather Roth from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment was re-elected to serve another term as Treasurer
- Aaron Bieringer from the Minnesota Department of Health was elected as AIRA's Governance Committee Chair*
Congratulations Christy, Heather, and Aaron! Their terms will begin October 1, 2020.
AIRA will welcome director nominations starting tomorrow. Please stay tuned!
*Note: The board recently established this position to ensure continuity between the AIRA Board and the AIRA Governance Committee, a subcommittee of the board responsible for ongoing review and recommendations to enhance the quality of the board.
