In the pursuit of global immunization equity, identifying and reaching zero-dose (ZD) children, under-immunized (UI) children, and missed communities remains a complex challenge. Reaching these children with life-saving vaccines requires clear and accurate data about who they are and where they live.

Join the Zero-Dose Learning Hub for the second webinar in a two-part series on using high-quality data to better reach ZD children, UI children, and missed communities. During this webinar, immunization experts from Mali and Uganda will share their experiences using innovative, data-grounded methods to reach ZD and UI children and missed communities. 

Presenters:

  • Dr. Zakaria Keita, Epidemiologist/Research Coordinator, University of Sciences, Techniques and Technologies of Bamako (USTTB). Dr. Zakaria Keita is an epidemiologist and research coordinator at the University of Clinical Research Center (UCRC) in Mali. He has more than ten years of experience in public health research programs. Dr. Keita’s experience includes the operationalization of the One Health approach and the co-development of innovative strategies to strengthen the control of zoonoses, particularly rabies.
  • Carol Kamya, Senior Evaluation Officer, International Development Research Centre (IDRC): Ms. Kamya is a health economist with over a decade of experience in health financing, health systems, health equity, monitoring, and evaluation. Ms.Kamya enjoys developing innovative, effective, and efficient ways to integrate economic evaluation into diverse projects and turning complex data into actionable results that drive decision-making and creative solutions.
