Hello, AIRA Members –
You may have heard that the National Quality Forum (NQF) is currently considering two immunization-related measures. The NQF Prevention and Population Health Standing Committee reviewed the Prenatal Immunization Status (PRS) and the Adult Immunization Status (AIS) measures for endorsement consideration. The PRS measure has been recommended for endorsement while the Committee did not reach consensus on the AIS measure. The Committee is seeking comments from the public on all measures, in particular on the AIS measure given that consensus was not reached (see draft report attached, or visit this site for more information.
AIRA is collecting comments to submit as a community on these measures. Here is our collection schedule, given the (recently extended) upcoming deadline for submission of comments by May 28.
- COB May 4, 2020: Please review the attached report and submit any comments to Liz Abbott
- May 11, 2020: AIRA will compile comments and share summarized draft comments with the community
- May 18, 2020: Edits/additions are requested back on the draft summarized comments
- May 22, 2020: Final edits/additions will be integrated, and final comments will be shared with the community (with encouragement to echo themes and language across our organizations)
- May 28, 6pm ET: Comments will be submitted by AIRA and other community partners by the deadline for submission
