In 2020, WHO developed an MS Excel-based tool designed for defining the most suitable vaccination session frequency from vaccine wastage outputs. The tool provides simulations for changing service delivery parameters and vaccine characteristics, such as vial size, MDVP status, etc. The tool is useful for facility session planning, district microplanning, and vaccine needs forecasting.

Objective: To introduce the WHO Session planning tool, including functionalities, and usefulness in improving Epi and iSC performance, to EPI managers and logisticians in AFRO and discuss the way forward based on countries’ interest in using the Session Planning tool.

Target audience: EPI managers and logisticians

Panelists:
Claude Mangobo - WHO AFRO
Maricel Castro - WHO HQ
Solo Kone - WHO HQ

French interpretation will be available
